Improv for Everybody

playing, learning, growing

Improv to Improve

Improvisational acting is live, unscripted theater. At the core of this spontaneous collaboration is the tenet “yes, and”—support your partner with energetic affirmation, and you will be a strong, innovative ensemble. It’s fun, enlivening, and easier than you think! We make spur-of-the-moment decisions all the time, every day, without even thinking about it.

Everybody can do improv, so why not learn how you can be even better?

Training in improvisation can enhance a multitude of communication and collaboration skills:

  • public speaking
  • storytelling
  • active listening
  • conflict resolution
  • crisis management
  • teamwork
  • problem solving
  • ease with ambiguity and change
  • adaptability
  • innovation and ingenuity
  • professionalism

Improv is a must-have for leadership development, executive education, and corporate retreats. It’s also valuable soft-skills training for teens and young adults.

I will design a workshop for your group that is relevant to the challenges faced in personal, academic, and professional life. You’ll be invited to play and take risks in a positive, supportive atmosphere. It will be fun, educational, and transformative!

No experience in improv or theater required—just an open mind and enthusiasm to try something new!
